We are delighted that you are considering St Mary’s as your child’s school.

Change in Admissions Policy – Consultation

The Governing Body of St. Mary’s Church of England (VA) Primary School Fownhope has agreed to adopt an updated Admissions Policy. Part of this policy reduces our Planned Admissions Number (PAN) from 25 to 20 with effect from September 2022.

In accordance with paragraph 1.42 of the School Admissions Code (December 2014) a 6-week consultation process will take place in order to give other individuals and establishments the chance to offer their comments. Our consultation period will run from Thursday 17th December until Thursday 28th January 2021; if you have any comments to make, please address them to the Chair of Governors, Reverend Chris Moore, at the email address

  • John Masefield High School, Ledbury
  • Whitecross High School, Hereford
